A New 8x8 |
I had the silhouette left over from another project so I looked for a way to use it up. (For anyone as visually picky as myself I totally ripped her nose, oops!) Throw on a coat of pink paint and voila a scrapbook is born!
I'm obv a little tardy to the party (reference anyone?) with this being for the whole year of 2012 but I'll have fun playing catch up the rest of the summer :)
Scrapbooking is one of those things I feel I need to make more time for, it ends up being so relaxing and I love that I'm going to have them for years and years. Blogging and pinterest are great, but for me looking at a real magazine or scrapbook page beats clicking around any day!

I love scrapbooking. I pretty much make at least two pages every day. It's such a fun and creative outlet. Love your page!
ReplyDeleteI love scrapbooking but definitely don't put enough time into it! Wish I could do it more often! Also loving your blog and am now following!

Hi Kelsey,
ReplyDeleteThanks for popping by Gypsy in Jasper. Where are you living? Are you a Canadian girl, too? Or are you just drawn to Northern Canada? I definitely recommend making the trip. I lived in Yellowknife for a year and intend to settle down there when I'm a little older and ready for a grown-up life.
You've got a great blog here. I used to be a die hard scrapbooker before I started traveling around the country. Now all of my gear is in storage at my sister's house. Whenever I find scrapbooking blogs, I find I miss it. Maybe it's time to start up again!
I've spent time in both western and eastern canada and am waiting to see where the next few years take me! I will definitely make a road trip up there soon, maybe when rental cars at at my disposal lol.
DeleteScrapbooking is so hard to do on the go! I'm the same in that I only do it at my parents house usually.
So cute! I completely agree with you: I love Pinterest but I love being able to hold something in my hands and flip the pages. :)
ReplyDeleteAWESOME COLLAGE!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the scrapbook cover! Being able to actually hold something you've made always trumps clicking through potential ideas. I also enjoyed the Kim Zolciak reference :)
