We all had a blast at the Calgary Stampede's 100th year. There was no shortage of daisy dukes and cowboy boots, fried confections, nausea inducing rides, cute baby animals and fireworks. We saw the chuckwagon races too which were really neat! Cowboys definitely know how to have a good time, not to mention the weather was GORGEOUS. I highly recommend visiting Calgary during stampede time, you won't regret it!

ReplyDeleteDeep fried and rides aren't always a good combination, but for fairs you can make an exception.
