These snapshots are from my trip to see her in Louisiana last month. I can't believe how much fun we have doing the littlest silly things, hence the on the floor cookie dough ice cream parlor in her new unfurnished apartment. The soundtrack to this post is this song. Just because. Pictured are a huge live oak, new orleans urban landscape, blue bell cookie dough ice cream, korks, kanvas and kardashians with a cute puppy, and driving on country roads that remind you of horror movies.

Awww this is a sweet post! I try and see my best friend about once every 2 weeks, with lots of cups of tea and gossiping!
ReplyDeletewith each year, i grow more and more grateful for all the incredible friends i have in my life, new and old. it is amazing to think how some of my best friends from childhood and from university, different though we are, have remained so close and such beautiful supports to me as we all grow and learn!

Seeing you two together it's so obvious that you're bosom buddies. And cookie dough ice cream is my favorite, so kudoos! I am lucky to have several best friends. It's funny; I don't have a ton of close friends, but the ones that I do are the best. Some are close and some are in different states, but I try to make time for them in my life every day.
